Beau's 1st Christmas :))

I am so thankful and blessed to have my son to celebrate Christmas with this year! He is such a sweet sweet baby boy! I just love him to pieces! He is the best baby ever! To me anyway :)) We really didn't go all out with gifts this year since he is so little and we really didn't have lots of money to spend anyway! I'm going to try not to over do Christmas. We need to think about the true meaning instead of getting getting getting! I know it will be hard to not give my baby boy all he wants but we are going to try.

Beau woke us up around 7:30 Christmas morning. We gave him a bottle before we opened gifts. He was not into opening presents....just wanted to play with everything that he shouldn't as usual...LOL I was sweating by the time we got done. I was on the floor trying to take pictures. He was crawling off and I was crawling behind him :/ I was wore out!

Here is a few pics of our 1st Christmas with our son, Beau!

hims so sweet!!!

On Christmas morning my best Friend has a breakfast for the family and we are always welcomed. So after we opened our presents we headed out for the day. We stopped by the Stewarts for some yummy breakfast!

Everyone wears their Christmas Pj's to the Stewart Breakfast....most everybody anyway! This is all the kids...

After we left the Stewart Breakfast we headed out to Clay Hill for Christmas Dinner with the Austin's! We ate at Jeremy's Aunt and Uncles house.

Oh I almost forgot about Christmas Eve!!! We had a laid back evening. I cooked most of the morning and mid afternoon. We grilled out that evening and Jeremy's parents came over to give us our gifts.

Christmas Eve Part 2

Tonight we had a laid back evening. This is the 2nd year we have been laid back on Christmas Eve. I think next year we will plan something a little different. We just grilled out on the grill, Beau took his evening nap, and my In-laws came over to exchange gifts with us.

Beau was not really into opening presents! He played with a box for a few minutes but then crawled around. Hopefully next year will be different.

waiting on Mimi & Granddaddy to get here, A.K.A Disney World...LOL

Got a barn

He likes chewing on the toys instead of playing with them...LOL

If you took this away from him he would cry! We gave him 1 gift from us tonight. It was a vibrating teether...he LOVED it!

Fixing to go to bed so Santa can come!

Good night all....Have a blessed Christmas!!!!

Christmas Eve

Today I am baking baking baking, AGAIN! My very very very Best Friend, Chereese, came over last night and we baked cookies. We use to do this every year but here lately around this time we have all just been so busy! We started it all about 15 years ago when I lived next door to my moms house. We baked in my tiny little kitchen with a 40 year old table and a jacked up stove, LOL (Christy over @livinlavidaluke knows what I am talking about!!) We had so much fun and thought we would make it a tradition!

Anywho, We baked 3 different kinds of cookies: Pecan Cresants, Top secret Chocolate cookies, and oatmeal chocolate chip pecan. We didn't make as many as we usually do. They all turned out yummy yummy of course!

So, today I am baking the rest of my goodies for tomorrow. Pecan pies, Coconut Cream Pies, and corn bread for the dressing. My mom makes the best Pecan Pies ever and I usually get her to make them for me. But this year I thought I would try and do them my self, HA!!! So hopefully they are going to be just as good as hers.....here is a picture of them. (they are still cooling)

I made them with whole pecans because that's the way my hubby likes them :)) I'm such a sweet sweet wifey!!!!

My lil man thinking about getting into the tree or presents...LOL

We have a busy day tomorrow! The Stewart's for Breakfast, The Austin's for Christmas dinner (1:00), and The Davis' for the evening....whew...I think bed will be calling my name early tonight and tomorrow night!!!

Hope everyone has a blessed Christmas Eve!!! See ya tomorrow night :))

Santa came early in Austinville......Love this pic of Beau getting into the tree! I was trying to get a pic of him sitting in front of the tree but when I turned around to grab my phone this what I found him doing when I turned back around! Little stinker!!!  I wanted to get another pic like this but with my nice camera...but....I can't get him to do this again...as soon as I put the Santa hat on he jerks it right off!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas :))

I finally got my Christmas decorations up, YAY!!! I was a little slow at it this year. You would of thought I would have gotten them up earlier than usual because of Beau but not this year. We didn't put up lights on the outside of the house yet. Not sure we are going to get them up this year because Jeremy's back is bothering him. Bless his heart! Here are a few of my decorations....

So excited that we have our son to celebrate with this year!!!

Beau's Christmas tree :)) He only has 12 ornaments but we will add every year!

Tree in the guest bathroom

Back porch (don't mind the mess)

the rest of the back porch (again, don't look at the mess...lol)

The front porch. We usually have lights around the windows, columns, roof but not this year :(( It will be done next year...I can't stand it!!! (oh we also have candles in the windows but I didn't get them in the pic.)

I hoping next year I can have a tree in the kitchen and get another tree for my bedroom. I gave our bedroom tree to Beau :))

Christmas Parade

Last Saturday night we went to a Christmas Parade but not our towns. We heard the one in Macclenny was the best one around so we headed out early, so we thought! When we got there there were tons of people already there and settled down in their chairs along the road! They had the roads blocked off early that morning and I guess had a festival like thingy all day. The parade started off with fireworks at 6 and then the parade followed. It was a great night for a Christmas Parade!!!

Beau hanging out with Granny

Miss Kaylee with a beautiful smile

My friend Marsha

Love how they decorate the town. Our town does not do it like this :(

My mom, Beau, & cousin Jen

Daddy made it just in time for the fireworks, YAY!!! (he had to work a FULL day at work when normally it's just a half day)

My beautiful Cuz and her mini me, Kaylee!

Our family :))

Beau was in Awe over the fireworks, lights, and all the loud noises...LOL

Started off the parade...I didn't get very good pics of the parade because my camera settings were all jacked up and I didn't know how to change them...i can barely use the darn thing!

I love old firetrucks!

There were TONS of people at this parade. I think we will be back next year...and the years after! Beau was such a good boy too!

Merry Christmas!
